We spoke to 3 different companies to get an estimate for a new system. Black Hills was the only company that did exactly what they said they would do from the start. I appreciate the text/photo letting me know who would be arriving and he came right on time. Travis was very polite and professional and answered all of our questions. The installation crew was also very quick and professional and cleaned up afterward. Follow-ups to make sure we were happy with service also appreciated. Awesome customer service
Great service, No BS. Our AC was not keeping up, had a feeling it was because of a leaking coil on the inner unit. Was confirmed by Black Hills Inc. and was set-up with an appointment with a comfort specialist. After the survey with the specialist (Bento Yanez), we sat down and discussed options for replacement, turning out that full replacement with a heat pump/ac/new furnace would be the most efficient cost-effective option. Black Hills was able to access all the previous history on our unit since prior homeowners had used them, they could pull up everything that had previous work done. Looking forward to the replacement unit being installed in only 4 days, after the survey.
Ross did an amazing excellent job cleaning our ducts. He was very conscientious to detail & took his time doing it the right way.Ross was very professional and pleasant to be around.
Frankie came out last week to evaluate the problem and give us an estimate of repair. He came out today and did a great job! He was on time, easy to work with and professional! I would highly recommend him and the company. (By the way, I love how they answer the phone - "what can I do to make you smile today".... and they then do a great job of getting that done!)

Exceptional service from start to finish.I had been seeing their ad during the morning news for several weeks, so I finally called to set up a consultation for air conditioning installation. Bri was super friendly and knowledgeable. They service our area so we made an appointment for a "comfort advisor" to come to the house. David showed up in a timely manner. He was thoughtful and had answers to all my husband's questions. They had the best service so far (we had a couple of other consultations) and their financing was perfect for our budget. Within a week of returning the paperwork, we had a heat pump! Jeremy and Cort did a great job! Manny, the electrician was great too. We even had Roy come out this past Monday and update our electric panel. We are so ready for summer! Thanks, Black Hills!

Dan was great, I had no idea about my heater/heat pump. He was very helpful in explaining everything. He explained the whole system. Showed me how to use the thermostat controls. I upgraded the system to work more efficient on why to keep our air cleaner. It was a great experience from the person I talked to make the appointment to the tech Dan inspecting, cleaning, servicing and informing me about our system. Thank you.
Gordazo just completed the maintenance on our 14-year-old heat pump and electric furnace and we could not be more pleased. Captain Comfort is REAL!!!!! The service I witnessed from Jake was beyond the call of duty and truly an act of a "Good Samaritan"! My daughter is in the midst of moving after losing her mate and father of her two small children, to cancer last month. Needless to say she is dealing with major challenges and changes. So, when she encountered the problem of the dryer hook up of 1950 meets new dryer 2019, it hit like the last straw! Luckily, Jake was diligently engaged in installing a new heating system in the garage and could not help but overhear the melt down of frustration in the laundry room nearby. He appeared true to the company motto of Captain Comfort and really did, 'SAVE THE DAY WITH SUPER SERVICE IN EVERY WAY!' He paused from his near completed hired task, and fashioned a custom fitting part that enabled the dryer immediately. Such earnest, kind assistance was so wonderful and appreciated, I could not deliver my heartfelt thank you without tears of joy. Seeing my daughter's relief of one less crisis to avert after countless problems and glib remarks from sales people to again, "Hire a handy man!" was absolutely a blessing to us all! Roxanne was the most thorough technician we have had. She took her time explained everything to me so I understood. She cleaned things. Showed me pictures of things that needed repaired. Went over prices and finance with me. We want her to be our technician every time. Truly amazing!
